Each June, the quiet town of Metropolis, Ill. comes alive as thousands of Superman fans fill the streets to spend four days celebrating the "Man of Steel." The 2008 festival was extra special as Metropolis broke the Guiness Book of World Records for gathering "The Most People Dressed as Superman" on Father's Day.
